Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Continuing Education Committee’s focus is to provide fisheries professionals with opportunities to grow their skillset and develop professionally across a wide variety of topics typically through the use of workshops. Workshops can include in person and\/or virtual opportunities which usually occur during the annual meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This mission of the Continuing Education Committee is to promote the development of fisheries professionals through organization and production of workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The committee will seek to accomplish the committee mission through the following goals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Generate workshop topics, as well as solicit and collect professional development workshop proposals from chapter membership and the Executive Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Secure the best available workshop instructors for the topic at hand.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Facilitate production of the workshops in concert with annual meeting planners.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
